Join LILRC to hear from authors Christine Day, She Persisted: Maria Tallchief (Penguin Random House, November 2021) and Kelly Starling Jones, She Persisted: Coretta Scott King (January 2022) to learn about the She Persisted Children’s Chapter Book series. The authors will share personal experiences related to inequalities because of gender, the importance of cultural representation when honoring and celebrating the achievements and contributions of women, and ways we can all take action to ensure we empower every voice.
